Turning your “nothing” into “something” is not impossible. Just like in poker, when you turn your small bankroll which you consider as just “nothing” when compared to others’ bankroll into “something” which is more substantial, more helpful, is indeed not impossible.

Well, the turning process may be not easy and even may take much time. However, through applying some skills, patience, discipline, and wit, the process may be lighter, easier, and shorter.

The Key

Basically, the key to turning a bankroll that can be considered as just “nothing” if compared to others’ bankroll into “something” more substantial, more helpful is none other than playing patient poker. Player who wishes to turn a bankroll than can be considered “nothing” into “something” must play patient poker. He or she must lower his or her sight, and must live in reality. In taking things, he or she must be slow and careful.

For an instance, player has $10 in his or her account as his or her bankroll, he or she must not rush, and as been said must be slow and careful in taking things. He or she must find the right games for his or her bankroll. Say he or she play best at sit & gos, and so most likely, he or she must find for sit & gos where his or her $10 bankroll can work. Then eventually play at those games until he or she is able to generate some money for his or her bankroll. Basically, because he or she accepts it’s the real thing that he or she has to do. However, of course, he or she must set specific period of time that he or she will play at those games. Also, in choosing, it’s important for him or her to still consider some factors, specifically like variance.
